Fox News anchor Bret Baier took on the fitness industry in an appearance on “The Five” Tuesday, calling Kia a “very smart” fitness brand.
Baier, who has had a long relationship with Kia, said he was a “big fan” of the brand, and that his wife was a big fan of the company as well.
He also said Kia has an “inspirational, inspiring message” about fitness.
Baiers comments came after the company unveiled its new Kia Bolt in New York on Tuesday.
The Bolt is the company’s latest vehicle in the fitness category, and it comes as it tries to capitalize on growing interest in its products.
Kia was founded in 1996 by former NBA player, Shaquille O’Neal.
The brand has sold more than 15 million cars, more than 1.6 million motorcycles, more, than 2 million SUVs, more models than any other automaker, and a range of other consumer products, including batteries, televisions, fitness bands, fitness apparel, home security systems, computers, smartphones, and computers and tablets.
