Health care is a big deal in the U.K. and Canada, but a new survey says Americans should consider expanded Medicaid coverage to all.
The poll, conducted by the Kaiser Family Foundation and released Tuesday, found a strong majority of Americans want the federal government to do more to help those in need, as well as lower the cost of health insurance.
The survey of 1,200 adults also found nearly a quarter of Americans think the U,S.
and Canadian governments are doing enough to protect their citizens from fraud and abuse, and nearly a third said the governments are handling problems at the border well.
Some 56% of those surveyed said the U., U.N. and other international organizations were doing enough, and a majority said the Canadian government was doing more.
